The General Board of Church and Society (GBCS) advocates for policies rooted in the Social Principles of The United Methodist Church, addressing key peace and justice issues worldwide.
The 2025-2026 legislative priorities focus on four portfolio areas: Civil and Human Rights; Economic, Health, and Gender Justice; Environmental Justice; and Peace With Justice.
