Lay leadership is the heartbeat of congregational vitality and fulfillment of our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. The Horizon Texas Conference equips and empowers lay leaders to steward the church’s ministries with clarity, grace, depth and purpose and to become devoted followers of Jesus seeking the loving, just and free world God imagines for all people.
Grounded in Wesleyan formation, our leadership development aims to raise up principled Christian leaders—able to guide communities of faith into transformation, innovation, and faithful service.
