Prayer
Prayer is essential for encountering Christ, seeking divine guidance and interceding for one another.
Rooted in John Wesley’s emphasis on personal and communal holiness, an organized prayer ministry invites us to live out our faith through intentional connection with God and compassionate care for others. It is both a spiritual discipline and a care and healing practice, affirming that God listens, responds and works through the prayers of the faithful.
Prayer also reflects the Wesleyan belief in prevenient grace—the grace that goes before us—by offering support even before we fully understand our need. Whether lifting up joys, concerns or grief, prayer ministries create space for healing, hope and transformation. Through shared prayer, we embody the love of Christ and build a community where no one walks alone.
