Rev. Dr. Lucretia Facen has served as Metro East district superintendent since July 2025. Prior to this role, she served for five years as associate pastor at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Dallas, a historic congregation noted for its outreach ministries serving young people and the unsheltered.
Before her time at St. Paul UMC, Facen led congregations including New World United Methodist Church in Garland, Hamilton Park UMC in Dallas and Jubilee UMC in Duncanville.
Facen received her Master of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 2001 and completed her Doctor of Ministry in 2018 at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.
In addition to her pastoral leadership, Facen is actively engaged in the community and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is married to Rev. Don Robinson; their blended family includes five adult children and nine grandchildren.
