We Belong Grants

The We Belong Grant Program supports local churches in the Horizon Texas Conference as they develop creative, contextual and sustainable ministries that cultivate a culture of belonging and increase meaningful participation in the life of the church and community.
The program particularly encourages ministries that engage:

Non-dominant racial and ethnic communities

Young people from non-dominant racial and ethnic communities, particularly those under the age of 30

LGBTQIA+ people and communities

People with disabilities and their families
Projects may be short-term initiatives or longer-term ministries, but all projects should establish clear and measurable goals. Grant recipients will be invited to share their outcomes, stories, and learnings so that promising practices can be celebrated and shared throughout the Horizon Texas Conference.
